The Monthly Theme Contests will still be held in place but winner submission will no longer be included in the magazine due to complications.

A quick note, The Monthly theme submissions will be canceled if there is a lack of participation.

Submissions will also be posted on the front page of the Art Consciousness Website.

Art Consciousness Magazine UPDATES

Submissions are now being accepted. The themes Fear and An Internal Wish.
We also have a Confessional in which individuals can anonymously or publicly express their deepest troubles, secret thoughts etc.
Also included will be a future interview with Vincent t Joachim.

I am also looking for volunteer staff for the magazine. These include an editor, journalist, photographer and graphic designer.

Please spread the news around about Art Consciousness. The more submissions that are sent in the earlier the magazine may be published.

--> Sometimes our fears come to us in dreams. Sometimes our fears await us in the uncertain near future. Some fears have arose from what we have already experienced. To the fear of heights, death, never being loved, or dying unhappy we all have an impending fear that scratches the surface of our consciousness. What is your fear? And how does it effect how you live, interact and think in reality?

*Submission deadline Thursday November, 22. Winner will be announced at the end of the month.

How Art Consciousness Support You
Besides helping to promote your work, every month a theme will be submitted in which members can enter and be able to win a 1 month subscription to use for themselves or to give away to a friend.

*Contest prize has been changed to 1 month subscription with the exception of November Theme submission.*

And every five months an article will be written featuring two artist members which will include a one to one interview and a display of their work.


How to Help Us

Art Consciousness is not just a club. It's a community of artists who share like minds and are open to encouraging, inspiring and sharing. Your cooperation, support and friendliness is the best way to help.
Put downs, insults, or any form of violence will not be tolerated.
We are a supportive community, not a dis- empowering one.

Donations: If you would like to donate subscriptions or prints to Art Consciousness, we would be incredibly thankful!

Promotion: Spreading kind word around about our community is helpful and speaks a lot of kindness.


Submissions
Send us a note with your submission. Please make sure that underneath your Artist Comments you have written, "I grant Art Consciousness permission to post this in their page." Or something like it, so long as it is clearly stating that you have given us permission to resubmit your work here.


Requirements From Submission

For Images, be sure to have an original image that is at least 2000 pixels on the smallest side. Your deviantart submission doesn't have to be this precise image.
Send us your work through notes. Be sure to have your title submitted as "(month) Theme Submission" (eg. "November Theme Submission")



*Note: The Permission Agreement Form is to legally state that you still obtain full copyright ownership of your work but have granted me (Sheila Coliflores) the right to publish it into Art Consciousness Magazine.
